The Bridal Edition was founded by Cat and Kat, two friends with a shared love of fashion, and a shared feeling that the bridal experience wasn’t living up to its potential.
Having each navigated our own weddings, we were drawn to the beauty of bridal fashion, the designers, the craftsmanship, the sense of occasion. But behind it, the experience often felt fragmented, time-consuming, and at times, unexpectedly underwhelming.
Cat found herself trying to coordinate trying on a dream Galia Lahav gown during a one-hour gap on a work trip to Singapore.
Kat spent weekends visiting preloved bridal boutiques, only to find that while the gowns were beautiful, the experience rarely felt considered, curated, or truly special.
And when a highly anticipated second-look dress arrived in unwearable condition just days before a wedding, it became clear:
This wasn’t about isolated moments. The system itself wasn’t working for modern brides.
So, we created something better.
